IDRx was created with an unusually clear scientific mission: a single, rationally designed small-molecule therapy for KIT-driven GIST. Their team understood the disease, resistance mechanisms, and patient need with exceptional depth. ICS partnered with IDRx to translate that clarity into a cohesive brand, a refined investor and scientific deck, and a streamlined website that conveyed their potential with confidence and composure.

The Opportunity
With strong science and deep expertise in place, IDRx wanted their external presence to fully reflect the clarity and focus of their mission. They saw an opportunity to elevate how their story was told—creating materials that were as direct, precise, and intentional as their science.


Our Approach
Our work started by tightening and improving their story, using their non-con deck as the primary vehicle. This was their most urgent need, ahead of a planned slate of BD meetings, and this is often where a biotech’s core narrative is told end-to-end. This included the beginning of a brand evolution, evolving some of the visual language they were using to express their science along with the written narrative.
This then led to a deeper brand dive into a refreshed look and feel for the brand and website, where a layered, nuanced story came to life for a variety of audiences, including potential investors, patients, and BD partners.
Refine the Narrative
Working closely with scientific and clinical leaders, ICS distilled their story to its essential logic:
- KIT-driven GIST is well characterized.
- Resistance drivers are known and addressable.
- Current therapies leave meaningful gaps.
- A therapy designed with precision and tolerability in mind has the potential to shift outcomes.
We shaped a narrative that highlighted the intentionality and scientific strength behind their drug IDRX-42, without leaning on hyperbole or unnecessary complexity.

Design a Deck Built for Scientific and Investor Resonance
The redesigned deck became a central tool for IDRx’s external communication:
- Grounded the through-line in patient need and scientific rationale.
- Streamlined charts and figures for quick comprehension in high-stakes settings.
- Communicated in a measured, confident tone that supported credibility with both scientific and financial audiences.
- Created lightweight, adaptable templates the team could reuse for conferences, partnering discussions, and investor meetings.
The result was a deck that enabled crisp, consistent storytelling for BD and investor meetings, and was met with tremendously positive feedback from both their board members as well as investors themselves.

From here, ICS developed and expanded their brand into a modern, flexible brand system that made IDRx’s precision tangible:
- A refined color palette building from their signature purple.
- Clean, readable typography and standardized data-visualization styles.
- Modular templates that worked across scientific, clinical, and corporate storytelling needs.
- More dynamic, human-centric imagery connected with IDRx’s clinical ambitions.
Visual elements reinforced core narrative ideas—especially the balance between potency and tolerability at the heart of IDRX-42. The system elevated clarity, consistency, and immediate comprehension across all of their communications materials, and led to greater confidence in how their story was communicated.
