As ICS’s UX Strategist, Justin uses research and design to create a user experience that aligns business goals with best practices in modern user-centered design. He also heads up the ICS Apprenticeship program.
Since 2011, he has presented numerous talks on freelancing, typography, and printing at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, AIGA Boston, Rhode Island School of Design, and for the National Chapter of the Graphic Artists Guild.
Justin is a native Floridian (get the jokes out now) and before his life as a designer, he worked in a tiny restaurant making fried rice and loose-meat sandwiches and spent two years teaching third grade in a small border town in South Texas. He now resides in Melrose, MA with his wife Dorie and son Cal. He spends his spare time road cycling, taking photos, cooking, homebrewing, and being the token old guy at the punk show.
