Prague in Polaroids: Part 2

With just a few days left, I’ve been frequenting my favorite places more often. This morning I got up early to see the Charles Bridge without the tourists. (I arrived around 7:30 am.) It’s crazy what a difference a few hours can make.

I sat for an hour drawing the bridge, wandered briefly around Lesser Town, and then walked back over the bridge and through Old Town on my way to work. Below are some polaroids from the walk:

The Charles Bridge with only a few people on it–a rare sight.

A lovely street toward the end of the bridge.

The archway at the end of the bridge, which leads to Lesser Town.

A quiet little street in Lesser Town.

The view from the Charles Bridge. I couldn’t help taking another river picture. It was such a beautiful day!

Some of the statues on the Charles Bridge.

Approaching Old Town Square.

As you can see, things started to get busier by this point.

Old Town Square

Leaving the square.

Looking back at Old Town.

And finally, some proof that I was here.
