Hello internet! My name is Seah. I’m pretty excited to get started here as an intern at ICS.
Like several people here, I ended up here via MassArt, but my path was slightly more roundabout. I didn’t start at MassArt as an undergrad, since I had already gotten a B.A. in studio art from another college. I didn’t even study design at all when I was getting my B.A, since my college didn’t offer much in the way of graphic design courses.
After college, I started looking at design on my own, and I knew it was something I wanted to learn more about, so I went into the Graphic Design Certificate program at MassArt. My studio art experience included a lot of printmaking, which is something that’s informed my current design sensibilities. I love the current revival of letterpress and screen printed posters, and anything illustrated or hand-lettered. I love good typography and clean design. I’m looking forward to working with everyone here at ICS… stay tuned for more!
